Very open interior, view is fantastic, also outside. I tried the Tom Kha Kai soup, delicious (like in Thailand)

We had lunch on several occasions in the Adler lounge. The views are fantastic all around, but the highlight is of course the proximity to Austrias highest mountain; The Grossglockner. Food and service were good and it must be the best place for lunch in the Kals-Matrei ski area. Kaiserschmarrn were tops!

We had lunch there 3 times and the actual food and views were fantastic. However, the service was a bit chaotic and sub par. We had to pay up front, which was no problems but half the table got their food and the other half did not come. We had to ask so many times and the other food only... More

During ski holiday we spend a couple of times in the Adler Lounge. Not in the restaurant itself but on the upper floor where there is a private lounge. this is really a great place to stay with an amazing view on the mountains. Friendly staff, good food, nice audience, what else do you need for a perfect day in... More

If the wheather is clear, you can see up to 60 mountains over 3000m in the Alps. Besides that, the kitchen is a good mix of local and international kitchen. A very tasty Tom Ka Kai or the local Kaiserschmarren is all available.

We chose the Adler Lounge as our mid day lunch place. Good choice on the menu at reasonable prices. Great terrace if weather conditions allow. The tagliatelle house made is our favourite.

If you like modern places with very good facilities, it will be a place for you. Most spectacular view of the nearby peeks with some good coffee or else. Would love to stay in some of the rooms they are offering on the top of the structure.

This restaurant’s main selling point is the breathtaking view. To reach the restaurant you need to take several cable lifts from Matrei, from Kals it is only one cable lift, but it’s worth it. You can see Alps all around you. If you are a skier it a perfect place to take a rest and enjoy the atmosphere of the... More

A lovely sun terrace where you can soak up the sunshine and the mountain views. The indoor restaurant is also well worth a look.

I was fortunate to have the opportunity to enjoy breakfast in the Adler Lounge. This was such a great view! To read my whole experience, check my blog: hotelhint.blogspot.be/2015/06/hotel-gradonna-mountain-resort-4-kals.html Hotel Gradonna in Kals has the same owner and the hotel is as great as the food of this Lounge on the top of the mountain.
