Food average at best. Tiny portions. Privy for what you get. Really disappointing and so wish I hadn't taken my client there. Not good :(

We had dinner several times at this restaurant and we always enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. The service is also very good and the owner always between tables chatting and helping. What I enjoy most is the fact the service is not over the...More

I chose this restaurant for my birthday meal. We went in and was not acknowledged, my wife had to say who we were, then we were shown to our table. We ordered the mix starter which was good, we had the steamed rice to share,...More

Absolutely revolting. The lukewarm, by no means fresh food did not taste like authentic Thai cuisine whatsoever, instead it tasted like a very bland, mediocre Chinese meal. DO NOT waste your money. Worst Thai food ever.

I find these comments very confusing and perhaps the reviewer meant to post this on April 1st, so I won’t trouble even to respond to such nonsense.

The menu is confusing, the sides are a dish on their own but they tell you that you need mains and two sides, the waiters are only allowed to take drinks orders. It took 45 minutes before we got to order, I believe being upstairs...More

I visited this restaurant with my girlfriend on Friday 9th February. We were a little apprehensive as the reviews were so erratic, some saying bad, some saying good however we decided to go and make up our own minds as we are new to the...More

I had a lovely lunch today, food was amazing, I didn't think it was too pricey as I don't think £10 for a main dinner was a lot considering the quality of the food. I expect people have thought it was expensive if they have...More

I have been going to this restaurant for many a year and it never fails to impress. With the possible exception of The Blue Elephant, it serves the best Thai food outside Thailand. It is a little expensive for a non London restaurant but worth...More

We tried the Pad Thai by chance as we were looking for a new food experience in our local area. All the resturants in West Malling were very busy so we were pleased to get a table. The menu had lots of interesting choices. The...More

Description
Every country in the world has its own food profile. It reflects its culture, environment, ingenuity and values. In cases of Thailand, these words come to mind: attention to detail, texture; colour; taste; and use of ingredients with medicinal benefits, as well as good flavour.

We not only pay attention to how a dish tastes; we are also concerned about how it looks, how it smells, and how it fits in with the rest of the meal. We think of all parts of the meal as a whole, "sum rub Thai" (the way Thais eat) is a term we use for the unique components that make up a characteristically Thai meal.

Here at Pad Thai, Manta and the team do their upmost to adhere to authentic methods in all our dishes. As such we do not offer This glutinous or "Sticky" rice to eat with our curries or any main course as "Sticky" rice originates from North and North Eastern provinces and should only be eaten with a very spicy salad or in a dessert.
