Rode a boat for 1 and a half hours from Stockholm just to eat this ice cream. Totally worth it! I tried out a big cone of Chocolate ice cream and it was delicious!

Not too sweet. Best ice cream moment before boat ride, but definitely missing a signature flavor and a smile on the staff faces. Glass pa Hornet is not a brand, but could be.
Huge and yummie icecreams. I tried the licorice flavour and my daughters had tiramisu and lemon. They are all approved!
The small shop is located just next to the harbour where the Waxholmsbolaget ships arrive and depart. For the msinland-european the prices are very high (35, 45, 55, 65sek) for 1, 2, 3 or 4 scoops but quality and size of the ice cream is...both good. Wonderful ice cream shop. Quite big scoops of great ice cream. Since the family had al different flavors, I was able to check all four of them..straciatella, lemon sorbet, strawberry and mango passionfruit. All wonderfully made. Great natural taste.
Great location and seeing the line I thought, awesome. Yes gelato, how fabulous. It was anything but. It was actually lousy and tasteless ice cream. Two lines and kinda chaotic inside. As I write this the more I think about it, the ice cream was...lousy.More
The ice cream looks fantastic, but it’s quite lame when it comes to the taste. I asked for chocolate topping and the girl asked me if I wanted “chocolate sauce”. I did the mistake of saying “yes”. What she did was making a hole in...the ice cream and filling it with a large amount of sauce, which started dripping immediately making the eating experience a very sticky one.More
I ordered one ball, Joghurt passion fruit, nice! Big and with fruit pieces inside , lovely! Definitely regretted not to have 2 balls
The place is small, long queue and stressy. Gelato is ok, not more or less. Place is in corner and near the center. Best gelato I have eaten is Turkish gelato, the best #1.
The Glass pa Hornet serves the best ice cream in Vaxholm. The ice cream is homemade and the different varieties all taste excellent!
Quick service despite long queue. Was a bit disappointed in the ice cream that did not taste so much. And the coffee was a disappointment.
Excellent selection of Italian ice cream. The view is the best, by the water next to the historical fort and harbour. The line of people can be quite long a warm summer day.
What a business for them! Everytime we are in Vaxholm they have a que that goes out on the street! Worth the wait.
