The food here was simply stunning all around - presentation, smell and taste. We picked the 7-course tasting menu for our dinner and, as it happened, we picked the opposite dish from each other for each course. Despite the mighty 18 dishes between ourselves, we pretty much cleaned our plates ... Top marks to [Chef] and his team who are... More

There is nothing to say about The Coquillade except excellent. Have been there several times from the time the started and have watched the place grow in stature over the years. The choices you make will all be good. Wether you eat among the vines. In the main restaurant, or by the pool in the Italian. The views are fantastic... More

We ate here on our last night in Provence. The restaurant used to have a Michelin star and is trying very hard to get it back. Based upon the food and service, they deserve it. This restaurant compares favorably to any of the many Michelin-starred restaurants my wife and I ate at during our three-week visit to France. The dining... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at the bistro during our stay at the Domaine. We are both foodies and loved the fabulous food , fresh produce cooked perfectly with great savours. Service was prompt and attentive. The domaine is superb , first class and well worth a visit to stay or at least to enjoy a meal.... More

the restaurant has an excellent outdoor setting with box office views - the sunset was amazing. The food was mixed with some courses good and some fair but none of the courses hit the high notes. Service was excellent so despite being disappointed by the cuisine we would try again

I can't remember any dish that we had. They were truly forgettable. All I remember is that it was unpleasant to have wasted a dining opportunity in the Luberon region, which has fabulous restaurants, on this place.

The food, and service were outstanding. The hotel is beautiful, and they have their own vineyard, and produce good wine.

We had the Menu du Chef (longer menu) with the wine pairing. The food was flawless. The chef's recipes allow the ingredients to shine. The first few courses are very refined with delicate tastes. For instance, the nepeta (catmint) in the Fleur de courgette soufflee was perfect. The risotto with a heart of citron vert (lime) in the next course... More

We ate at Coquillade twice a couple of years ago and returned a few days ago to be hugely pleased with its improvements. It's got to be hard to remain at the top, constantly digging ever deeper to find creative uses of ingredients, yet here they have achieved it. The chef's offerings were presented with greater finesse than in past... More

Just back from a 5 days family stay @ "La Coquillade" relais et chateaux in Gargas / Provence. This place has always been magic but it keeps on getting better. The new rooms and Spa are almost finished and it will definitively add the final touch to this great resort. The gastronomic restaurant is the key feature for us. Chef... More
