Lovely pub in a fab location. We booked for a family evening meal as we haven't been there for a while. The menu looked smaller, less choices and a lot of the dishes had chips with everything. The food was not to its usually high...More

There can't be many places that offer fantastic views while providing old world welcome and hospitality. Good good, friendly staff. The Queen's Head is a pleasure to visit. Tucked away on the quayside full of Maldon character - well worth a visit again and again.

Decided on Haddock & chips with peas. An enormous piece of fish, beautifully cooked with wonderful chips & peas. Wife had seafood with fresh mussels, a delight. Couldn't manage a desert. Service was prompt and friendly. Well worth another visit.

Lovely evening meal here last week while on holiday in Essex. Service and food were excellent. The area alongside the river was most attractive and despite many visitors the staff were attentive and helpful. Having left our hats and scarves there, we went back to...More

This is a legal question, so I suggest googling to find out the law on the employment of young people in premises serving alcohol.

Sorry we don't do a cooked breakfast at the moment. We do run our full menu from 11am every day if that is of any use

Dogs are allowed in both bars which also serve food. Not in the restaurant away from the bars.
