Expect BUSY! Sunday @ 1pm was packed with people waiting in the vestibule and they were a tad slow at clearing the tables. Once seated, service was attentive but the kitchen was overwhelmed so there was a considerable wait for our order. Breakfast plates are huge and delicious especially the Eggs Benedict. Coffee is plentiful during the wait - a... More

I like to stop in small towns when I have the time. I love the home-made taste. In this small town is a VERY tasty breakfast place. The service is great, the food tasty, the coffee is plentiful, the restaurant is well maintained and clean. My omelette was served quickly with toast and home-fried potatoes. It was larger than I anticipated--fine... More

First time here, we had a group breakfast on a Sunday. At 9 am the place was not too full we had reserved but by the time we left the place had people waiting to sit down and cars were still coming in the parking lot. I must say the breakfast was awsome, three eggs, 4 pieces of peameal bacon,... More

I get together for breakfast with my adopted brother once a month. We chose Hot Stacks the first time because it is about halfway between us. We now go here exclusively for our monthly breakfasts together. The food is plentiful and very well priced, but more importantly, it is consistently excellent. The restaurant is very popular and fills up quickly... More

Was expecting to order pancakes or an omelet however, when I saw the liver, bacon and onions on the very extensive menu, I had to try it. It was everything that I expected and more. Generous portion of liver with a side of carrots and home made French fries. ery reasonable pricing and great service. Now I understand why there... More

Waited over 45 mins in 3/4 full restaurant . We were told they were shot staffed in the kitchen and thus being backed up. After waiting almost an hour for our food to appear , was severely disappointed with what tasted and looked like some reheated potatoes , pre cooked bacon and sausage. No compensation offered for this substandard meal... More

This is a family Diner and not a high class upscale establishment. The food is excellent but the service is average. We ordered the banana bread french toast which was so amazing. The pancakes were average and the grilled cheese had processed cheese although it hit the spot. Prices are reasonable here. As far as the service we had to... More

Must try : 1. Pancakes (hot stacks) 2. Chicken souvlaki on a bun 3. Pea meal bacon cheeseburger Favourite options! All the above have to be cut in half to just eat because the portions are huge!
