We were very pleased with the food but not the discrepancy in the address. The restaurant is correctly indicated as being in the Gush and did not need the erroneous indication that it was in Palestine Territory. Despite its name, and a somewhat ambitious menu, Japan Japan does not offer Miso soup which is a huge gap in the basics.The iPad menu is technically au courant but a nightmare to work with. The decor is as good as one can expect from...a long narrow space which is one half bar (not the sort of bar where you watch your sushi being hand rolled). The music is deafening, obviously being played for the pleasure of its young staff without any consideration for the diners. Instead of the soothing sounds of Japan one might as well be in a jungle on steroids. As for the service ... service? service? The staff is young, Very young. One of the servers is friendly The other a young woman so sour she could curdle milk.. Ask for something like spoons or plates (duh) and after three attempts one of us will get it, the other not. The place is quite new so I will cut them some slack for using us as guinea pigs --at full price of course. And the full rice is hardly cheap.More

Approximately 25 family members recently had a dinner together in the private room of Japan Japan. Several dishes from the menu were ordered including magnificent boats filled with different types of sushi. Egg rolls, sesame chicken wings were our starters. The main course consisted of...3 different types of stir fry - chicken, beef and vegetable. And for dessert we had churros, non dairy ice cream, dark chocolate cake , whipped cream and a hot dark chocolate sauce. The dessert presentation was magnificent! Plenty of choices for all tastes!More

We had an intimate meal for two couples at Japan Japan Gush Etzion. The food was tasty and chosen from a menu that included a wide variety of asiatic dishes. We began the meal with kimchi salad, then ordered sour-sharp soup and ended off with...a main course of chicken fried rice. Portions were large, food well seasoned and fresh. Atmosphere very casusal and friendly, waiting staff very helpful and patient. Very reasonably priced. All in all a lovely evening spent in a comfortable restaurant overlooking the Hebron hills.More

Once a week, when I babysit, I treat my grandchildren to their favourite meal - sishi at Japan Japan. The restaurant never fails to deliver! The food is delicious, their menu rich and varied and the service always friendly and professional.
