If you have a need for something other than Filipino or Western food, this is where you can get some traditional Chinese.
The servings and prices are good. The order taking has some misunderstandings due to language difficulties. We had to send some things back...twice due to allergies that we explained but were not understood.More
I came here because my friend and I wanted dim sum dumpling soup! Well all I can say it was delicious and we have been back everyday for it!
The dim sum dumplings were huge and we had like 8 in our bowl! We added...chilli oil and soy sauce to our dish (not that it needed it, just our preferred taste) and last night I ordered fried chicken to take away! The chicken was also delicious! It was moist inside and it wasn’t greasy in the slightest and very crunchy (just like it should be) I ate half of it walking home it was so good!
We have both decided that whilst we are here in Coron this is where we will eat everyday! Every dish looks clean and fresh and tasty and it is very cheap to eat here! I will definitely recommend KAISON.More
Mainly went here because of the reviews and it wasn't too busy. It is a large restaurant with large tables and basic interior - nothing fancy ..... The food was surprisingly very good apart from the use of msg, considering that we asked the waiter...to ask the kitchen not to use it in our dishes. We actually ate here twice - egg fried rice P240 - was very tasty and such a huge serve that we (2) couldn't finish the dish. The BBQ pork P300 was also very nice. The highlight was the curry crab which we splashed out on - P1500Kg (live) - the curry sauce was really well made but the msg did spoil it. Beers P70, and the service was quite friendly and quick.More
I think that staff here are lazy and uninviting.Everyone was sitting except for the male server. No one even check how the food was or if we have napkins or condiments. This location is in front of Kent’s Hotel.Im NOT recommending this place.
This restaurant may look like a canteen, but this for me is the best, second to Island Boy Grill. They serve authentic Chinese food in huge servings. They have wide variety of dishes to choose from. They have a lot of servers and the Chinese...owner is very friendly too. I ordered the Chicken noodle soup and I didnt expect that it will be a huge bowl. They also make their own noodles so that's another plus point.More
We ate there 3 times, we enjoyed d pork n beef soup most. Seafood was average. Despite, d fact that Coron is so close to d sea, couldn't find any good seafood, later heard that all good seafood bought by mainland Chinese to be send...to China. Otherwise, want to have a proper meal, fast service, go to Kaison... The Philipino Chinese owner is always there, took a pic with him but forgot to ask for his name..More
Wished we'd tried this place earlier in our stay in Coron. It looks and has the feel of a canteen but don't let that put you off. It appears to be frequented by mostly locals, usually a good sign.
The food is really nice and...tasty and prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes and they don't skimp on the fish. We enjoyed everything we tried.
The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
Met Mr.Kaiso a few minutes ago. Very accommodating guy. Makes one of the best Baby Back Ribs in the island! What we loved most is that he doesn't use flavor enhancers like "Magic Sarap' to make food more tasty. Will definitely be our default restaurant...everytime we're in town!More
Ate here at our first night in Coron. It was a bit intimidating at first because almost all of the patrons were Chinese, but the staff were actually accommodating. They have solo servings for less than P100 each, and servings good for 3-4 (maybe even...5 if you're not a hungry bunch) for around P250 per item. My fave is the hong ba dry noodles (braised pork on noodles which tastes like asado) -- so good, we went back here on our last day in town just for it.More
