We dropped in to the Six Bells , a pub (Brewery tap) we have visited in the past. The beer was still excellent, and the atmosphere very friendly. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This is the most dog friendly pub I have ever been in. We first visited on the Friday night which is fish and chips night, the landlord managed to squeeze us in despite not booking, the food was very good, we then sat in the lounge, and had a couple of beers, and we where made very welcome, Saturday was... We were in Shropshire escaping the 'Christmas Experience' in our home city of Bath, Somerset. We wanted peace & quiet, nothing commercial, minimal frill and fuss and did we ever pick the perfect spot here. This is a pub from another age and is the tap for the Six Bells Brewery on site - and on a site stinking of... More

I'm not a beer drinker but my husband & sons are real ale lovers. They thought the beer was so good (the pub has it's own brewery) we returned for more. Very good price too & very friendly landlady.

Tap for 6 Bells which now supplies Wetherspoons amongst others, beers are kept well and consistent, Spiky Blond a personal fav, food is fine, not the cleanest establishment but its a country town pub not a restaurant, there are a couple of older customers who dominate the bat with their personal views the when in and like to block strangers... They brew their own beer at this pub and it's all good stuff ,if I'm not mistaken at least six ales to try at any one time. Friendly staff and customers .

Very friendly staff and customers, As first time visitors we (dog too) were made to feel like we were as welcome as the regulars. Great range of real ales made by their own brewery. Will definitely re-visit.
