The gnome chef takes great care to get to know his guests and all the food is locally produced. His lamb special was divine as was the gnome produced Belgian beer. We sat outside and it was an unusually bitter evening and were lent blankets to stay warm. A great meal! Just a warning to the driver - the road... More

The food is good and the owner is very receptive! I loved the strong beer that is made by the owner it reminded the Belgian style from quadrupel beers!

Good place to have a meal. Very friendly, receptive staff. Gnome, the owner, is a really gentle and receptive person. The restaurant works with local ingredients - trout, shiitake and lamb.

The place is very nice as well as the people. Mr. Gnomo takes care personally of the guests introducing the place and foods. The food quality is good but the price is too high for the quantity offered. There are better options for eating in that area.

Looking for an original yet delicious experience? Visit Gnomo Caio! With his personal charm and Gnomo talent, we were served a light trout paté as a teaser for the special main dish for couples: trout being prepared and served in 8 (!) different ways... Not sure which one was the winner, but the trout rolled in the Mozarela de Buffala,... More

Leaving the highway DUTRA in Guaratingueta towards Cunha, you drive 30 miles in a beautiful hill landscape/scenery road which is in very good condition, before turning left into a dirt road in very reasonable shape for a normal car. After 1.5 mile you arrive to a small and very cozy restaurant, where GNOMO CAIO is waiting for you. The food... More
