We stayed at La Lodola and ate at the Osteria couple of times. The food was outstanding, they use fresh, excellent quality ingredients. Emanuela recommended different wines fort various dishes we tried. Each wine was excellent and paired perfectly with the food we chose.

We loved this restaurant nearby Village Fontelunga. It was one of our highlights in the area. My husband and I couldn't decide what to have on the menu one eve and so we ordered portions to share - instead of presenting one dish and two empty plates as you have in some restos when sharing they plated up our courses... Homy atmosphere, great Tuscan cuccina povera, with a touch of Sardinian. We tried both white and red Chiantis - excellent quality - to - price.

Staying at la Lodola is always a ferry tale like experience but I won't wait five years to come back. Spring has the countryside flourish into a spectacular sight. The view from the rooms is just incredible. Waking up with the sweet odor of fresh cake and mocca, made by Mario every morning is the best start of the day.... More

We've been 4 times over 5 years and every time we are delighted The menu is a chalkboard of maybe 5 starter, 2 pasta and 3 meat dishes. Plus a few very tempting desserts. All the produce is local and menu seems to be based on what is in season. Tonight we had the ricotta soufflés, bruschetta, pasta and beef... More

Innovative yet traditional cuisine at the same time. Seasonal fresh produce is used and the flavours burst off the plate. Plenty to chose from for vegetarians, carnivores and fish lovers too. Reasonably priced and the atmosphere is chilled. Service is exceptionally friendly, family run and owned. Will not disappoint. It's a winner. Chef Carlo knows flavour and delivers. Manuela his... This was one of our favorite restaurants in the region. We went back for a second meal in the 5 days we stayed! Intimate and beautiful with an owner who was lovely and welcoming. Beautiful food from their garden and a resident yellow lab who made the experience even more special! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We were fortunate enough to be staying at La Lodola (the B&B), so enjoyed most of our meals at the osteria. Manuela does a wonderful job of making you feel like you are having a comforting dinner with family. Everything was thoughtfully prepared. Be sure to save room for dessert. Love this place!!!

What a find. A home from home. The owner is very sweet and welcoming. The menu changes daily and is written on a scrap of paper. All the food is local and very fresh. Extremely good food!!!
