the restaurant is perfect for fine dining. we sat in the garden and had a short lunch. Locals and tourists were there, it was very good. the service was good and the food was delicious. price performance is right and is worth a visit. Anyone...who has read my other reviews knows which restaurant is not worth visiting. here you can have a fine meal with good service at a good price.More

Terrible service.Food came so late. Excuses after excuse. We told waiter we will not pay for the late dish and instead of an apology they called police on us. Never again. Not recommended.

Its a very nice Restaurant in terms of Decoration and seating. The service was good and the Waitress welcoming and providing the menus straight away. Food did not take time to arrive However It was not very delicious - full of fat and they didn't...have any steam rice which was surprising as arrived at lunch time. I would prefer choosing another restaurant than passing again here - unless they change the menu of the food quality and Variety.More

We walked here from where we were staying which took approx 1hr, this was due to it being rated number 1 place on TripAdvisor. Upon arrival we found our own seats, do not wait to be seated as they do not do this as when...we asked for a table they told us didn't have any so we just found one that was free. The service was good with waitress arriving with menus straight away. She helped us to order and whilst being told it would be around 40mins for food it arrived in around 20mins. We tried to order dumplings and told they didn't have any (we visited around 1.30pm) but the table next to us came after and they were given dumplings. We were clearly tourists not speaking the language and the table next to us spoke Russian so not sure if this was the reason but disappointing to be told they don't have something and then serve to the next table. The food was average. My friend had manti and said the meat was quite tough and also fatty so didn't eat them all. If you are passing I would suggest visiting but I wouldn't make an effort to go there and we passed a number of other restaurants on the way.More

Stopped for lunch and enjoyed a good selection of Russian and Kyrgyz dishes including manti, lagman, stroganoff and fish. Menu includes a good range of other dishes. Pleasant, relaxing ambiance, service OK, and prices were quite reasonable. Would be happy to eat here again if...we ever pass through.More

We have eaten at Rybaka several years in a row. Their fish is always cooked perfectly and delicious. We also love their salads. The atmosphere is fun and they are always packed with people. Sit outside if you get the chance.

We had two lunches here during our stay in Cholpon Ata. The dining room is a little dark and the TV with local pop music make the ambience not particularly appealing. But the menu gives you lots of options and everything we ordered was good!

This is on the main drag in Cholpan. It has plots of different areas to eat. Upstairs has a nice atmosphere and there is a nice quieter room on the ground floor in the idling at the back. It was so busy during our visits...as it was the time of the fabulous World Nomad Games so we had to sit in the centre close to the music disco, this was quite loud, so avoid unless you want to dance. The Food was fine, not the Best but quite adequate. Service was patchy like in all of the country. For drinks it is best to go direct to the bar and order there. This is a good safe bet for supper.More

We ordered the Herring under a Fur Coat and a Fried Fish Sizzling Platter. The Herring was good and presented beautiful. The Fried Fish was the star of the show. The fish was cut into bite sized pieces and fried. Each bite had a ton...of flavor, I would get that dish all the time. The menus are in English and some of the servers speak English. Seating can be upstairs or downstairs. Just stroll on it and grab a seat!More

Went in for dinner on a Tuesday evening. Service was good and they put in a food effort to speak with us in English. Food wise it was good and no more. Everything we ordered tasted good But lacked the wow factor. The fish was...fresh and well-cooked but once again did not wow me. Overall we had a very good meal and can recommend this restaurant.More

Its never a good sign, when in fisherman restaurant waiter tells you the kitchen cant prepare simple baked fish (it is the menu). It probably had to something with the quality of ingredients. Fish in the pot gave us food poisoning, the rest of what...we tried was not that bad, but not that good either. On the plus side the interior is nice and it is a pleasant place to sit.More

Our choice of restaurants was very limited, as most of them are stilll closed until June, when tourist season starts. But this was anyhow a good choice . Almost everything on the menu was available, we were there for lunch, so maybe that is why...there was nothing grilled or from the even. There is a karaokebar which was luckily closed during the day or before tourist season. So it was very quiet, few tables were taken and service was very quickly and friendly. English menu! It was not very cheap, but cheaper than the posh restaurant Barashek where we had dinner yesterday. We had very good fish, salmontrout, fried , a fish soup, a few beers and vodka's and two espresso and we paid 1600 som, about 20 € for two persons. . Café Edem nextdoor was closed. Platinum Café next to our Hotel Panorama was closed. Café Piligrim , right on the beach was closed until June... But we had a good meal!More
