Very pleasantly surprised by the superbly curated wine list and the super enthusiastic and helpful sommelier. Happily raided the cellar of the rare top end bottles while we were staying at the Design Hotel Levi.

Even though due to latest Covid restrictions our NY dinner was moved to a kinda brunch at 15.30, food quality was very good and service as well, especially the sommelier very nice and helpful. One of the best if not the best restaurant where to...eat in Levi.More

We came to this place by chance, because otherwise everything in Levi was full, and the first impression when entering the restaurant was rather deterrent. Thank God we were welcomed so friendly that we stayed and let ourselves be guided to the much more comfortable...area in the back of the restaurant. There, two absolute professionals took care of us: a very talented sommelier from Malaysia and an equally friendly waiter from Calabria. They took care of us the whole evening and we enjoyed a very finely scraped and seasoned beef tartar (covered with a little too much parmesan), as a main course an excellent grilled to the point on spinach and cheese (wonderfully spiced and great the Novello served with it) and afterwards different desserts with perfect sweet wine accompaniment. One of those evenings where you are actually only planning a small steak or a pizza and then quite unexpectedly have a culinary experience that is second to none. We visited 6 different restaurants in Levi during our holiday - this one was by far the best.More

Stopped by some time ago for some wine and snacks. Decided to try the restaurant this time and the cuisine nailed it. Great wines, really nicely presented and tasty foods. Plus good service. Good job!

We were a party of 12 people on a Friday night. Everybody wanted to have different drinks and different main courses. The waiters were very friendly and professional, and everyone got what they ordered. The food was delicious, reindeer meet was especially good. The interior...decoration of the restaurant Kekäle is very dark and cozy. Small table lamps are really cute. Warm recommendation.More

Pretty pricy, even by Finnish standards, but the food was very good. Very good service from the waiter (Daniel) too.

had a full fiasco. The reindeer was cold, the dessert tasted and looked like essences. Wines are overpriced

came here as it looks nice and reviews were good. Quite empty and although only 8.45 on a saturday the waiting staff said they were closing soon and seemed really reluctant to seat us. When we did sit down after we had assured them we...would be quick we were reminded again that we didnt have long - so we just left. Shame as the setting is lovely.More

Hard to notice from the outside, this bar & restaurant is a surprise. Great staff, a selection of good wines (imp for me) and a quality decor befitting after ski. Apparently new, people haven't found it yet.

We hoped it would be a fantastic experience, but were left disappointed. There wasn’t a great selection to choose from, quite limited really, but I think it’s fairly new so hopefully they’ll be able to add a few more dishes to the menu soon. The...style of restaurant is great though and I it has an open kitchen, so you can see the Chef’s cooking the food which is nice.More

Nice lounge style bar and dinner area with open kitchen, cool to see when chefs prepare your food. Good service and very good wine recommendations. "Kittilä" menu was nice, specially reindeer. One small but special event was when sommelier opened our champagne bottle with saber.

We visited this place in our last night in Levi and we certainly left the best to last! I had the lamb dish which was top quality restaurant food, my wife had the local fish which she described as the best fish dish she has...had in a long time and the also offered a great portion for the children who one went for burger and the other pan fried chicken. What was pleasing was the fantastic service wee received from Daniel who was very attentive and professional. It’s great to see someone take such pride in their career which certainly showed. Can’t wait to come back on out next visit. Good work KekaleMore

let me first say that everything coming from the kitchen was very good. both the starters and the mains. The burger I had was great and the reindeer meat my wife had was great as well. I ordered a whisky sour to start with, it...was one of the worst I've had. tasted only the sour and nothing else. The coffee at the end was horrible as well and thats a shame. I started and finished with something really bad.More

We have not eaten here before but gave it a go but the room has changed a lot from the breakfast overspill for the Levi Spa hotel. The menu was a little small and limiting for our son but I have to say the food...we did have was very good but could have been a little hotter but that’s a local thing I know. Will keep a look on the menus and if new dishes were added over time we would give it another go.More

Exellent food, we try Kittilä menu. All courses was best in Levi. Also very good red wine, Brunotto Barolo, only 64€ and it’s cheap in Finland.
