I liked the warehouse charm and informality of the previous incarnation, but it's a shame those owners never realized the potential. The new owners have, and added to the great local arts and crafts and good coffee are now a farm shop and a welcoming, cozy atmosphere. I didn't try the food today but the cakes looked lovely, and I... More

We visited for a pot of tea and hot chocolate. There was a tangible lack of warmth in the greeting and service from the female staff. Which put me off completely. Wouldn't go again. They need to be more smiling and welcoming.

A great find in Hartington. Sells local produce, artwork, teas, coffee and great home made cakes. Worth a visit, set in a kind of converted barn. A bit different and nice for lunch.

We enjoyed a couple of very good late-morning coffees accompanied by some delicious cakes which we ate in a very pleasant environment. For me the warm gluten free scones and jam were lovely and my husband had a caramel shortbread which he equally enjoyed. The staff were helpful and friendly and the farm shop was great selling lovely crafts and... More

Visited Hartington Farm Shop and Cafe twice whilst staying in nearby Wetton, once for breakfast and once for an afternoon snack following a bike ride along the manifold trail. Both good experiences. Good choice of food on the menu, didn't sample the cakes but they looked lovely and generous sizes too. Bought some lovely meat products here also. Would definitely... More

This place is now called the Hartington Farm Shop & Cafe and it's one of the best Cafes in the Peak District. If your in the area you have to visit especially for the Pies, they are deliciousness. Nice pleasant staff who are smiley and friendly. I love this place but don't spread the word too far as it may... More

Can't believe our luck to stumble on such a delight here! Delicious sandwiches, mouthwatering cakes, a huge range of teas and coffees, all at really low prices. Really nice to see a range of local produce for sale, as well as lovely craft and souvenirs! Thanks so much for a lovely afternoon!

A really nice lunch with fair prices, I would recommend the scones, the kids had paninis and they enjoyed them.

Been here before a few years ago and thought it was good. This time we had soup, with a really nice roll, coffee and cake to take away. Delicious. Can't fault any of it. Lovely people too. Wish it was our local.
