This place is right on the beach..even the restaurant has sand for the floors. We enjoyed a couple visits there, including live music, delicious food, and fun drinks. Great service and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Spectacular setting! The beach at Diani is stunning and 40 Thieves is a place lost in time. So enjoy the view and your drinks, because the food is mediocre and overpriced. But it's worth a visit anyway!

Fun time on the beach. One night there was a one man band and he was quite good. Then there have been DJs. All around great time with a nice crowd of people.

It's a really nice location from what I saw. It was pretty empty although that's because I went at about 10pm. The waiter that served us was unfriendly and cold. They don't have receipts instead they say your cost after every round of drinks bought which was odd. It was nice though to sit and have drinks by the beach.... More

If you like immersion in a classic Kenyan beach bar, this must be a good choice. With a very eclectic mix of customers and all the distractions from scuba diving, through to microlight flights and kite surfing, this is a very good place to start from. There is an open bar and the food, whilst not fine dining, is pretty... More

A great place to lounge, throw darts, and get lost in another time. An open atmosphere that invites the outside in, and lets the inside out. Ali-Baba's minions would find their home here.

The samosa, the sand between your toes while enjoying a cold drink, the waiters and waiteress, and the breeze from the beach make my holiday perfect this year too. This a place i will advice.

Great beach, but we waited over an hour to be served! Granted we were a large group, but it did not seem our patronage was valued.

We were there several times for lunch, dinners and also only drinks. A good selection of food and drinks and reasonable prices. A very nice place in our oppinion and especially for us with a small child with us. Very handy with the beach closed by.

Thank Christina E
