When we go to Cyprus we always make an effort to go there. They only serve chicken, pork, chunky chips and salad. They grill the meat over charcoal which is very tasty. It is located in Akamas after Peyia. Sitting under grape vines with amazing views. They close at 5 pm. Best to book as they get very busy especially... More

My sister in law found this by accident, whilst driving around in the hire car..... She knows what a foodie I am & was excited to take us here on our last day.....I thought it was for dinner, but when she explained we had to go for lunch as the road will disappear when the tide comes in. It wasn't... More

I love the last castle. We come here a couple of times a year when we visit the in laws. It's a very basic restaurant situated at the top of a hill offering fantastic views of farm land and the sea. There is no roof, simply masses of grape vines over head which offers ample protection from the sun in... More

After great amount of fun getting there, we had a very enjoyable meal, BBQ food all that was on offer but it was fabulous. Will definitely be going back next year.

Go on until you run out of tarmac , go on some more along the dusty track , turn right up the hill until your suspension says 'please: no more' and a bit further brings you to an unexpected joy : a large restaurant terrace with fabulous outlook where menus do not exist but food appears at your huge slab... This is a re-visit and nothing has changed. Idyllic setting with simple Cypriot cuisine. BBQed pork or chicken, you can choose to have breast or leg of chicken, salad and the most fantastic CHIPS (best ever!). Family run, very friendly with fabulous views. A must on every visit to Peyia.

This is tradional Cypriot cuisine with a stunning difference - high above the Akamas Gorge, perched on a palm tree covered hilltop, you will be greeted by the friendliest family and seated at stone tables that are almost 'stone age'!! However, the souvla is grilled to perfection over charcoal, the wine is home grown and the views of the coastline... More
