A nice pub in a nice location. Ordered 2 Sunday roasts to which one turned up cold. Gravy was they only thing warming it up. Returned and got a bit one. Food was good. Drinks are ok and just above average pricing.

Was really disappointed as wanted to experience a nice fourth pub but alas failed as it was full of builders and their labourers. Not a great experience.More

Apart from the waitress not having a 8smile on her face while serving and she thought all liquers should be served with ice as did not ask. My friends will not visit again.More

What a pity you felt a need to write a review about a simple mistake. Your drink was replaced free of charge with an apology, what else would anyone expect. I gather you was so upset by this gross act of wilful negligence, you felt...More

Three of us dined. The sausages were burnt, the humus was tasteless, the mash was lumpy. We were in a small 2 table room and a couple came in with a big smelly dog and he shook himself all over us. We left our food...More

Well hello 'Essex Girl' Great profile name, leaves us loads of options as to why you might be called that! We have no room with 2-tables, and never have, so we've established you can't count. Burnt sausages, tasteless hummus & lumpy mash, you should have...More
