We arrived at 6.30 when the restaurant was just opening and were seated near the window. We opted for the set menu one at 26 eur and another at 31 eur for 3 courses. Both my partner and I had a seafood platter which consisted of oysters, crevettes, crevettes gris and escargots de la mer. The seafood was fresh and... More

We visited this restaurant several years ago and we were not impressed so we never went back again. We re-visited recently as it was the only restaurant really open on the day. It has changed, it has been redecorated, and people are now not sitting elbow to elbow as it was before. The food for the price is adequate. I... More

Drakkar is not a real restaurant, rather a bar instead. Every restaurant nearby serves a EUR 17.90 menu. They have to I guess. The food was not tasty at all, although the fish skewer was more or less allright. The dessert was listed as a white chocolate mousse, but it was so pale white that I didn't believe it contained... Even in September it was very busy, there are a lot of restaurants and it is a bit of a lottery For me Fish Soup, it was watery with no taste at all, then muscles, just ok Julie Terene and good, she said, Fish on skewers, again good she said You takes your chance me thinks but, at 50% I... More

We ate here last week while passing through this historic little town. The food service was extremely slow and took almost 2 hours. The waiter spilled wine, dropped dishes, almost stabbed me with a flying knife. Food was extremely average except for the prices. Soup was supermarket bought imo, my souris d'agneau was more souris than agneau, the dessert was... More

The starters were very good, but the mains were just ok. Fish portion was small. My wife had a strange flabby veal dish but her fault for ordering a regional speciality without knowing what it was. Dessert ice creams tasted too commercial. Better places around for 25 per meal.

Went for dinner at random. Menu looked attractive. Had to insist not be seated by the toilets while there was plenty of available space elsewhere Both took the most expensive menu. One of us was given a cod instead of a John Derry for no discount. Seafood was not very fresh and the general food preparation was uninspiring. I wouldn't... More

Stopped here for lunch. Very busy, we were sent upstairs but this was an advantage as we had the dog with us and there as more room. Excellent, friendly service and a well constructed 3 course lunch well presented.

We hadn't booked anywhere and it was getting late, so we took pot luck and got the last table in this buzzy little traditional restaurant. I think this place deserves a higher position in the ratings: service was good, food was fresh and excellent. We had a great bottle of Muscadet sur lie. It was great value and we left... More

We went there for a late lunch in the middle of the winter, so our options were a little limited. I was a little suspicious at first, given the fact that the restaurant smelled like fish as soon as we came in. I believe it might be busy because of its location on the main street, which is a bit... More
