My wife and I went there for our friends birthday evening out. We had the vegetable lasagne and the Marlon Brando burger. Really good. Well cooked, great flavour and well presented. Good prompt service too. Great selection of beers, ciders and other drinks too.

This is a proper traditional English pub that in our early years was our local. This was the first time of eating there in years and have to say the food is very good and they have a good selection of beers. Only slight downside...More

Old fashioned British pub with much higher than might be expected food quality. Attentive, responsive staff, a cosy restaurant and pleasantly boisterous public bar. We will be going back and suggest a trial visit for traditional pub atmosphere and good food.

Nice atmosphere, good food, cooked freshly for you, willing to make little alteratons to the dish (ie I prefer vegetables to salad), as long as the high quality is maintained I will continue to make them my no 1 choice in Street.

There is an excellent offer for meals, £10 for 2 people, very good value. The only problem I have is, I don't want "chunky" chips, and there were these chips with lots of meal options, maybe they would have offered me ordinary chips? I didn't...More
