We live locally and would eat here fairly regularly over the years. In all those years we have never had a bad experience. The food is always fresh and cooked to a high standard whether you are getting a takeaway or dining in the restaurant....More

delicious monkfish and chips with lovely tartar sauce, eaten outside overlooking the beach, what more could you ask for! we met a couple from Europe who asked if the food was good, and sent them over, they were delighted with our recommendation.

We visited Kilmore Quay as a family day out and were advised that we had to visit Saltee's Chipper while there. The only negative is the long wait for the fish and chips but as this is because everything is freshly cooked it is understandable...More

Now, from the word go I admit to being biased. In my experience (in excess of half a century) this chipper makes the best fish & chips anywhere. The fish is as fresh as it gets (as it should be - you could almost throw...More

Absolutely the freshest fish in Wexford. Had Lemon Sole to die for. Spotless restaurant, busy but no wait for a table. Prompt service and friendly staff. Cannot recommend enough. Do not go home without trying the Ferrero Rocher icecream melt. Worth the drive for that...More

Popped in For a quick bag of chips and fish cake for myself upon the recommendation of my father in law. Friendly service from the start and quick service. Chips were perfect and the fish cake delicious! We will definitely be back. 😃

Famous for its deep fried fish and chips, this take away and restaurant is good for other items on its menu, such as its "fish box" as its name suggests, a selection of 4 different fish, it's delicious rissoles and herb coated, monk fish gougons....More

Hello, As Noel G said, I think it it is only open weekends during the winter. The food is great, however Mary Barry's restaurant in Kilmore itself Is worth a try, and as far as I know is open every day
