Typical pub food but perfect for lunchtime, also the beer was good too. Its worth visiting the church, parts of which are mid 11th century and the arts and craft centre. Park on the foreshore at low tide, but DO NOT get caught when the tide comes in. You will have to tow your car out of the water!!

We ate Sunday lunch here and it was much improved compared with our last visit in August. We managed to get a table upstairs with a view of the harbour without booking in advance. The food was very good and top marks for the imaginative vegetables. Good quick service. The only disappointment was that a very noisy party of Hooray... More

Had a midweek pub lunch. Great home cooked food with vegetables. A good choice. Lovely old pub with good friendly service. Good choice of beers also. We would recommend this pub to everyone and will certainly revisit.

Another visit and just the same, excellent. We sat by the window upstairs watching the very active bird life, while the tide went out, and enjoyed a lovely "light lunch" which was a lot more than "light"!!! The food was very good, well presented by very friendly and helpful staff. Considering the it is quite a wealthy area the prices... More

We booked a table on a Saturday night for dinner, just the two of us without the kids. This pub was recommended by our local relatives and we were looking forward to some lovely pub grub and a chance to spend some time together. We walked in, my husband said the name for the reservation, and the man behind the... More

Visited this charming pub over weekend. Very busy and staff worked hard with smiles on face. Can't comment on the food as didn't eat but my friends and I enjoyed a pint of local ale which seemed well kept. Haven't visited this village for 4 years but was lovely to return on a sunny weekend in October

Good to find a nearby car park but the pub was very busy so we sat outside in a suntrap with a great view. We only wanted small snacks to eat so ordered pork pies, club sandwiches and a marinated seafood salad. All were good, except the two club sandwiches were reported to be a little soggy. The real ale... More

Had lunch with family and found table outside. Can't fault very friendly and welcoming staff. Easy bar ordering process. Nearly all tables in and outside were occupied which resulted in nearly a 45 min wait for our food. They were apologetic about it. Quality was good. Portion sizes good too. Total bill including drinks around £50. Scampi and chips, fish... More

Went here for lunch, and everything about it was lovely. 2 of us had the burger & I had the fish & chips. All were lovely & filling. We also had some of the billtong which is available behind the bar, which was a nice little extra. The dog was also welcome, staff very friendly & prices very reasonable. Hoping... More

There was enough variety to choose from for lunch. Really appreciated the fact that bringing along our dog was no problem. The seats inside are wooden but good cushions are provided which was a relief! Liked the atmosphere and the 2 men enjoyed their cider. I imagine that when the fire is lit, it would be even cosier. Would definitely... More
