Just what a tea shop should be like. Quaint olde-worlde building (it used to be the village slaughterhouse!) with enthusiastic staff selling large slices of cake and nice scones with clotted cream. The only drawback was the cheap jam. Popular with cyclists and walkers.

Lovely friendly tea room. Popped in for coffee on our day out. Lovely coffee served in amberley pottery mugs. VERY generous portions. Lovely little courtyard area outside for a nice day. Well worth a visit.

You don't need to book unless you have a large party, in which case it's advisable. The cafe is quite small and does get very busy, especially when ramblers are rambling at week-ends! The cafe is open at 10:30 every day... More
