Well from now on when I cook a pie all we Need is a load of meat a very small base ( if you can call it that) and a small puff pastery top. This was the chefs own cooked pie. I did mention this to the waitress but got no reply. Lucky we will never return. A pie should... More

We had a large family meal and the meals came out relatively quick, I had the chicken and mushroom pie which came with a side of steamed veg and a side of chips, the pie was amazing, large chunks of chicken and beautifully creamy, highly recommend. We ordered puddings but they seemed to arrive sporadically over the space of ten... More

Just moved to the area and wanted somewhere for lunch with the parents. I phoned up and booked for 2:30pm, but my parents showed up early so we drove down on the hope they could fit us in. The lady behind the bar was incredibly accommodating, she seated us at a terrible, took our drinks and made wonderful conversation. Sunday... More

Food was poor, ordered over £100 worth of food, 3 of us ordered chicken kebabs, very dry. I'd ordered the "pink duck" and it was over some. My wife ordered the belly pork with dauphinois Potatos, the cream had curdled. Had a flat pint of Carling, which was changed in all fairness, but overall the place was drab. Avoid!!

A lovely public house. Very friendly and efficient staff. Excellent choice on the menu to cover for all tastes and the 'Specials' board was really good too. We were a party of four and all our choices looked delicious and the portions were large also. Such a nice change to see a menu that doesn't just have your usual 'pub... More

My friend and I visited the Leigh Arms for lunch. It was a beautiful day so we found a nice table outside. Although I'd been previously for drinks I'd not eaten there before and as my friend has a gluten intolerance it was the perfect choice due to their extensive gluten free menu. The pub itself is lovely, the staff... More

Great pub grub and attentive staff. The Thai chicken kebabs and the gammon were both well presented with generous portion sizes .Service was good and not hurried. We enjoyed a summer evening and being close to the river,as well as the canal gives the option to burn off some calories with a pleasant walk.
