Garlic shrimps and manioca chips. Simple, solid and delicious. And a very interesting soundtrack. Good value for money

Our boys were in need of a change of food (too many crayfish at the beach) and El Pescador offers great pizzas from a real wood oven, which the kids loved. Paella and a mix of Italian and local style dishes lets everyone find their pick. Friendly and fair prices.

We were a little late getting to dinner and our son was starting to lose it, so that is probably the reason the slower service that is typical in the DR really annoyed me. The mixed paella was delicious though, wow! Nice little restaurant, open to the street, mid range prices.

This has been our first time visiting The Dominican and we never go to an all inclusive hotels so we go it alone as a family of five fussy vegetarians. El Pescador is a perfectly nice restaurant. We had a relatively warm welcome and very decent food indeed, despite the fact that we really only eat pizza when we go... More

Found it through tripadvisor. And yes its a cozy and attractively vibrant partly open air mediterranean restaurant, serving pizzas, salads meats and paella. We enjoyed the good and merry spanish type music. We had the paella mixta for 2 and caipirinhas. However the paella missed the real paella taste. It had all the ingredients it just wasnt what you get... More

Located slightly on the main street as you enter the downtown. Great place to sit out front and watch the "local" action while enjoying a great pizza prepared in a wood fired oven or a Paella.

We ordered a Mexicana pizza with sausage. It is in the italian style thin crust and was well cooked and flavorful. We also ordered the grilled octopus brochette which came with a lovely salsa of tomato, mild pepper and onion with olive oil and lime...it really accented the grilled pulpo which was tender and delicious. Very nice simple meal and... More

They had great creme brulee as well. I'm not so fond of the DR ice cream so I ordered two creme brulee without the ice cream they set on the side. The chicken is fantastic and the mashed potatoes come with some tasty vegetables on top which at first I scraped off and never tasted. This is a fish restaurant... More

For an outstanding traditional Paella, this is the place to go. We enjoyed a wonderful meal with the Ladies and outstanding service on a stormy night. I can't wait to go back and have it again. With easily a dozen varieties of paella to choose from you will not be disappointed.
