I go to Captain George Fish & Chips often. It is my favorite restaurant in the area. The whole restaurant experience is cool because it is made to look like you inside a boat. The food is great and near the lake. Perfect place.

My husband and I were in Port Perry on a road trip. Stopped in for some fish and it was awesome!!! Good wait staff and fast service! I made sure to tell my friends who are building a log home in the area so they can try it out. I wished we were there earlier in the day but it... More

We have friends that go out of their way to shop in Port Perry so they can eat here. We do too. Nothing special about the décor, the tables or the service but their halibut and chips is tops.

My husband and I arrived at 7:35pm for what we know are delicious fish and chips for our dinner. We were told when we came in the door they were closed and we could only get takeout. They serve so quicly I dont think we would have had a problem getting out well before they were done cleaning up. If... More

Great lunch spot for excellent fish and chips. A bit hot in the dining room on a hot summer day, the AC is clearly over taxed for the size of the location but that should not stop you from trying this place. I'd say the best option in town for food, comfort it's second to Halibut House which is better... More

Georges is definitely the best place for fish and chips! The fish is great, the fries rock and the coleslaw is awesome! Great place to take the family.

A visit to Port Perry is worthwhile and enjoyable as the main street is quite vibrant, has many shops and stores of interest, variety and note. There is a very good Fish and Chip restaurant on the street near the east end. Has a bright interior. It is one of a regional chain, Captain George's, that looks to be well-run... More

We had an awesome lunch at Captain George's on our way to Bobcaygeon. We ordered the fish and chips for three for our family of 4. I might have been able to stuff in one more piece of fish (or split it with my daughter) but it was absolutely fantastic! The fish was light and flakey, and perfectly cooked! We... More
