Second visit, different food choices - and just as good as our first time. We both had starters, a main course, two lots of rice, naan bread and a bottle of wine for under £50 - and a fabulous view from the window as a bonus!

The Spice Inn is easily overlooked, but does really excellent Indian food - all of the usual things plus some very interesting special dishes that you don't see very often - the Sardine Bortha was great. The food is beautifully done, well presented, and good value, and the staff are friendly and efficient. I've lived nearby for many years but... More

The food at the Spice Inn is very good. Having had a takeaway on numerous occasions and eaten in once, I have yet to have a bad meal. The standards are always very tasty but there are equally some very interesting dishes on the specials menu that are worth investigating. The restaurant could do with some TLC as the decor... More

The food here is lovely and the staff are always accommodating. If you are a curry lover and haven't ordered from here, then you are missing something!

We are just so lucky having the Spice Inn in Long Ashton. Amazingly consistent, fantastic flavours and cracking value. Staff always so friendly. Lamb Tikka Mirchi highly recommended. Having lived in Bristol for decades and used multiple curry houses over the years, I am firmly of the conclusion this is the best in the area!

A party of 11. waiter could not get the drinks order right, duplicating some things, missing others. After ordering, the starters came after 45 minutes. The main course arrived at 9:00 PM after we threatened to leave - we sat down at 7:00 ! The food STILL didn't arrive together, one person waited a further 10 minutes. Not everything we... More

Went for a family birthday, table booked for 7pm. We were seated in the first room by the bar, it was full of people waiting for take-out. Awful service. Waited for 1 hour five minutes for the starter. At 8.45 there was still no sign of the main course. One of our party complained. The plates then came out but... More
