We just got home from our first visit to Woodstock and are both very pleased. The food was delicious, we got chicken rolls as an appetizer, prime rib and fish and chips, and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was lovely and the service was top notch. Our server, I believe his name was Craig, was wonderful; very polite and genuine.... More

Spouse and I and son went for the Tuesday night beef feast,Between the time we booked and the actual meal The price went up which was a bit upsetting. When questioned on it host told us it was so they could provide a better cut of beef. Food served piping hot to table lots of sides... Beef while tasty was... More

Thank you for the four star review. The Tuesday Night Roast Beef Feast, did increase slightly in price to reflect cost incurred when we move up to a finer cut of beef, Prime Rib. When we first introduced the new Roast Beef Feast specialty meal, we had selected a slightly lower cut of beef, but after review by Woodstock's team... More

Breaking my golden rule to never eat out during peak occasions we went to the Woodstock for a Valentines dinner. I took a late booking, 8:30, to avoid the slam and was certainly not surprised to find the parking lot packed when we arrived. We were seated quickly in the overflow area and a polite server quickly provided a wine... More

Sorry we didn't meet your expectations for dinner this weekend. Valentine's is a very popular time for dinning out. I will pass along the information to the restaurant manager to review. I hope you will try Woodstock again some time soon. Thank you for the feedback J More

Wow this place has character. The building has been there for over 100 years. The dining room is decorated with displays from when the Woodstock was an Inn where travelers would stay as they came into town. Awesome, Food is very good and so is the service.

Our parents use to take us here when we were kids. It's been there a long time, and I believe they running on their history and not for today. It was a disappointment. My wife and I ordered prime rib. My wife asked for medium rare and got a thin piece of well cooked meat. I asked for rare anticipating... More

Have been going to the Woodstock for over 25 years. Always excellent experience until this year. Restaurant decorated beautifully for Christmas, service was outstanding. Food was a huge disappointment. Woodstock known for its "Hearty Beef Soup" - huge chunks of meat mixed with root vegetables and a hearty broth. Recipe has changed. Now veggies go thru food processor, meat is... More

We went for a family dinner of six to celebrate the Christmas season. The décor was very nice and decorated for Christmas but no background music of any kind. Apparently it was broke. We all decided to have the prime rib special. While we specially went, as the prime rib was half price, the regular price being $49 for this... More

Sorry we did not meet your expectations. We love to listen to Christmas music during this festive season and sadly sound system, which is always on throughout Christmas, decide that was the one day it would not work. We corrected the problem after your visit and the music is playing again. We are a casual fine dinning restaurant and have... More

Every Christmas my family goes the Woodstock for their brunch. It is a lovely affair with food and friends. This year was no different. The staff were exceptional and the food was great. Everything from breakfast to lunch to supper could be had. The only downside was the desert selection. Although there were some gems, there was not enough choice... More

Thank you for the great review. The Christmas feast and Christmas gatherings have become a tradition at Woodstock. We are so glad you enjoyed the Brunch Buffet and all the choice offerings. I will ask the team in the kitchen to layout some extra items for the dessert lovers like yourself. I also, have a weakness for a good dessert... More

Our reservation was for 7. We arrived on time and were promptly seated. Our server was dealing with another table and we were there for about 15 minutes before he came to our table and asked if.
