Visited on spec on a week night, someone came straight away & we were shown to a table. Lovely waitress (red hair) came to take drinks order & helped to suggest a lovely crisp white wine. Drinks arrived promptly, order for food taken promptly. When the food came it was generous, well presented & most of all delicious. Husband had... More

As much coffee and tea that we could want, tasty sandwiches with generous fillings and four of the most gorgeous cakes (the... More

I popped in here for a Coke while on a break from work. I ordered two cokes and asked if I could pay be card, the bar maid (may have been the land lady) said yes I could. So I handed my card to her and when I noticed a ten pound charged to my card. And she gave me... More

Joined a few friends here for a drink while the rugby was on and had a great time. Plenty of space 2 big TV screens and a restaurant rout the back. Cheap beer and plenty of it so we're all happy AND Wales won agains South Africa! Love the place.

Lovely old pub, very friendly staff, close to the local market. Had the steak and ale pie with a local bitter -both excellent. Wife had the vegetable pasta bake which was delicious, good texture and loads of flavour
