Stopped for light refreshments at cafe while we waited for our tour time. It was busy but we got a table and while there was a queue for food it moved really quickly. Coffee and teas were good and we had an assortment of scones and cakes with it. All were excellent. There was sandwiches, salads etc available and all... More

I had Toasted sandwich ( cheese and onion) which cost 5.20 and a miniture bottle of white wine which cost 5.75 as both were a self service option I felt this was very expensive.

Efficient and fresh, this little cafeteria has main/hearty dishes, quiches, soups and sandwiches. Good variety for a cafeteria and not too over priced. The chicken / mushroom main dish was very good.

We were visiting The Battle of the Boyne, and just popped in for a quick bite. What fantastic food .... all fresh, lots of variety .... and all looking out onto a lovely formal garden ! Hardly anyone in the actual Battle of Boyne display .. but this cafe was really busy .. obviously popular !

Lovely cream cakes and coffee and herb tea was had here before the tour. Lots of people were having lunch and it looked very tasty. A little on the expensive side but no more than you would expect from a touristy place.

This is a great little cafe for a hot drink while visiting Bru na Boinne. It is a little bit pricy but you pay for convenience.

A large group of 40 people were served fairly quickly. Perhaps a separate queue for just soup might be an idea to quicken up queues. Food was very appetizing and staff very friendly. Plenty of room for everyone. Would recommend the salmon roulade- nyom! Enjoy!

We ended up here after a walking tour of NewGrange burial mounds. It is a working farm,so it had nice scenery, but the food choices were very limited and very expensive. The staff were all very nice and helpful.

Dropped in here for a snack a few weeks ago. Menu is quite expensive for what's on offer but the cake selection is quite good. I was offered coleslaw or crisps with a breakfast panini.......very strange offering indeed......but the strangest part was to be charged an extra €2.95 for something that would never be put with a breakfast meal. Yes... More

Brambles is located in the Bru na Boinne (Newgrange) Visitor Centre. It is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean throughout. The choice of food items available is great from cookies and snacks to full meals. A really outstanding cafe!
