We had a lovely meal here. Mentioned on the booking email that I can't have dairy or gluten and I was presented on arrival with a personalised menu with about 10 options on it!! There aren't many places that give me that sort of service!...More

A country pub with character that turns out simple and delightful veggie options? Nah, must be a dream... only it isn't because you're not supposed to have the same dream twice asd we've been back within the week. Simple, excellent and parsimonious too with a...More

Lovely countryside inn tucked away in the Derbyshire countryside. Good choice of traditional fare and a great refuelling place for walkers. We had the ploughmans which had locally sourced ham and pork pie. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Recommend tbe Bakewell Pudding for afters!!

Visited on Friday night for a pint. Knowledgable landlord who let you try the ale before making a choice. Great selection of drinks. We did not eat but all the tables were booked so reservations advisable. Old fashion pub, enjoyed our visit.

We came here with high hopes but were sorely disappointed. Firstly, the Landlord was extremely rude after sending me back through the whole restaurant because I walked down the stairs the wrong way. He left the gate to these stairs opened and there was no...More

Hi - thanks for your feedback. Sorry you didn't enjoy your visit to us. The roasts had simply run out when you asked; this does happen sometimes when we get busy. We do our best but not everything can run smoothly all of the time....More
