Invited my wife to this exclusive restaurant to celebrate our wedding-day. Very elegant and beautiful restaurant. And the food is just fantastic. And so was the wine that we had. Just to be inside the room is an experience. What a place and what fantastic...More

It is quite a mystery why this restaurant hasn't won a Michelin star yet, as it in service, decor, and - not least - food and drink certainly deserves one. We had the "Metamorphosis" menu with kombucha pairing, and it was outstanding. Dish after dish...More

Without doubt, M&H is a really good place. Great flavours, excellent drinks, good service and a lovely room. However, in this league, I would also expect something beyond the normal, and on that matter I have tried better elsewhere.

The location in the old garden is fantastic especially in summer, the restaurant is cozy and the staff very attentive. The food is very sophisticated and presented almost naked. But sometimes it seems like it is overdone and the taste seems often to be lacking....More

I have rated the restaurant average mostly because I do not exactly know how to rate it! We could not complain about anything (except for the coffee - 70 DKK for a terrible cold cup!!!!) the evening was nice food and was as they called...More

Tried to get into the famous NOMA to no avail and read reviews that this restaurant was a great option for visitors that were looking for another option, man were they correct. They only have what seemed like 10 or so tables in the whole...More

The Danish wine maker Peter Vinding-Diers spoke about his new book and wines. The restaurant did a 12 course dinner around his fantastic wines and it was one of the most incredible evenings ever from a wine and dine perspective. The restaurant is high class...More

Mielcke & Hurtigkarl was a delightful experience. I had assumed it to be in the Royal Botanical Gardens in Copenhagen, but in fact it was in a garden a short distance from the City - a 15 minute taxi ride. You wander down a garden...More

Wow. This restaurant is a bit hard to describe. Recommended by our travel agent, we didn't know what to expect. We were here mid-week so there were only four tables around us during the course of the evening. The restaurant is located in a chateau,...More

Description
Gastronomic Fairy Tales – Our philosophy is to share our stories and emotions – Just like in the fairy tales you will never know what to expect. In tune with the season and the raw materials available to us at the time, we will present a string of finely crafted surprises and organic impressions at your table.“Food is a way for me to communicate emotions and tell stories. To reach people and move them. It can be technical or powerful, but only works when vulnerability is present. Taking people on a gastronomic journey around the palate and playing with the senses to really move them. The elements of nature in a series of organic impressions and tales transformed onto your plate.” - Jakob Mielcke
