When I am in Savannakhet Cafe Chez Bon has become a staple. Breakfast, lunch or dinner are always good here. Coffee super strong. Staff friendly and efficient. 'I'll be back'

I dined there on Sunday evening.
They serve European couisine and it was good idea to have European food after seeing too much rice and local thing.
We tried the steak which was quite good. The pricewise as others mentioned, is higher side compared with the standard in the area, but it is ok as a foreigner.
I shall come back.

Nothing authentic here but everything expensive. Small portions, small pizza, mistakes in order, and even a bad taste in eggs (like bot fresh). I did not feel well after eating there, so I am sure that I will never visit again. Owner was also rude when I told her that eggs are smelling bad. Friends also didn't like their food and atmosphere in this restaurant. Never again !

Restaurant cafe Chez Boune is in the so called Square of the city. Have eaten here before, not much choice of other places around, enjoyed the pizza not cheap.

I ate here on several occasions
Breakfast omelette good
Coffee OK (BonCafe brand) not my favourite
Pizza seemed like it was on a bought crust, which is a shame in a town that smells of fresh baked break everywhere.
I ordered a large pizza but the topping was lacking in quantity
Also no pepperoni or blue cheese topping offered
I'll go back but the next time will order some French food
Cold Red Wine OK but nothing special, 350B half litre

This is one of the gems in Savannakhet! Here you will find great food and great staff. The meals are always good and the prices to. I often come here to eat when I'm in Savan.

Delicious French / International cuisine in a nice outdoor or beautifully timbered, air-conditioned interior.
Conveniently located within 100m of the BCEL ATM's.
A short stroll from the riverfront.

Easy to find in the Market square. Good menu options but rather expensive for Laos. Service is quick and English is well spoken. Recommend the pizza and desserts.

They didn't serve me the food that I ordered and then acted like if I was stupid. Instead of changing my dish they bring it back to the kitchen and just "modified" it, serving me a ugly mixed dish, still not exactly what I wanted to eat. Owner is arrogant to treat customs this way. I will never visit again, as it is also of course overpriced.

This is a really nice place. Great coffee. Fabulous breads. A good selection of delicious food. Very attentive service and beautifully built and decorated. We stumbled across this restaurant and I made sure I took a card to help me find my way back. Oh, and the prices are Good, certainly not over the top like some in this town.

I was there with my wife during a visa run and the place is the best one to have a nice breakfast in town. Especially in summer it's great to sit in an air -con restaurant and enjoy some great and fresh food and fantastic coffee. People also call it Bon- Cafe.
