It's OK. Extensive Thai, Lao and western menu. Typical food as found in many Thai cafes Pool table. Cold beer and a mixed drink menu. Seems to be just Lisa so a rush of people would slow down the works but i suspect rushes are rare Reasonable prices for reasonable food.

I was in Savannakhet over a 5 day period because of a Laos holiday. I had at least 3 if not more meals at Lisa Cafe. I was quite impressed with not only the quality of the meals but also the presentation an quantity of the food. I would recommend this cafe to the anyone visiting Savannakhet. The prices were quite reasonable.

Lisa's place is right off the main road and centrally located. She has a comfortable place with a decent billiards table. The menu selection is wide and some thought clearly went into it but the quality of food was average at best.
The salad had larvae and worms crawling through it, long hair trapped in the chicken, and just a bit on the dirty side.
That said, shes next door to a massage place and a market so if you're interested in a lazy day or two without much movement, YOU GOT IT.

Every time I go to Savannakhet, I have to at least once visit Lisa's Café. If you like your vegetables freshly sautéed and the spaghetti al dente, you are in the right spot. You get meat and also vegetarian dishes. A nice little place with a second hand clothes shop attached, the food is always served quickly, fresh and delicious. Lisa speaks English and is a most professional cook. Very reasonable prices as well. Of course, she also has Laobeer to wash it down.

This place is run By rude obnoxious person.
The owner throws out customers for no good reason.
Not to mention the food is awful.

Food was good. I had the pork burger with fries for 25,000 kip. The mango smoothie was disappointing, it tasted like it came out of a juice box... Lisa was friendly. The pool table is not in the greatest condition and we suspect it is a kid's pool table

Conveniently close to Joli Guesthouse where i stayed, Lisa and Lars run a relaxed bar/cafe and make you very welcome. Nice place to hang out and maybe meet a few people and have a game of pool too. Opens til late.

Been here a few times to play pool, the drinks are cheap and the food is good although a bit pricey. The staff are welcoming and friendly, especially Lars!

I chose an egg sandwich, based on the pics in the menu - the sandwiches looked good and authentic, two thin slices of bread with various fillings. When she came to take my order the first thing the woman said rudely was 'why take out of book?!', meaning two pages that had been removed from their plastic covers when I got the menu. I would have left then but had already started my beer so ordered the egg sandwich. It was two partly fried eggs plonked on top of a pile of lettuce leaves, with a crust of bread under and another on top. Nothing like the sandwiches in the pics, nothing like a sandwich!

Bar is in a good location on the corner of a block, across the road in the evenings some nice looking food stalls open up. The staff were really friendly and will be keen to give you a game of pool. Beers cold and the one meal I did have their was decent.

Went here with my Thai wife and met up with my American friend and his wife.While we we there for at least 2 hours the owner stayed glued to his laptop and never conversed with us at any time.In fact wasnt helpful in anyway i will definately give this place a miss on my next visa run

Food was average, but the friendly staff made this a nice place to go and hang out and have a cold beer and a game of pool. the wifi was super fast.
recommend the laos omelet. really nice.

I found Lisa Cafe via a review on tripadvisor, location close to the Mekong river is great, the owner has been very helpful with directions for things to see and do while I'm in Savannaket. The food is great tasting, well priced and there's a good selection as well.
I would recommend any new traveller's to drop in for a meal and a cold drink.
