Impressive food

All things considered, the food is great. Highlights included the breakfast burritos and the banana bread with chocolate chunks. Portions could be bigger, and the nachos need cheese and peppers. But, considering location, everything was fine. Service is very good.

Cosy, comfortable and great prices

Great place to catch up on some reading or meet friends. The food is varied and is very competitively priced. The staff are friendly but leave you alone if you need some quiet. Plenty of space and a good venue to book for a celebration. The owner always likes to get to know customers by name. Go for the sunset across the river. Recommended place!

Great and far better location!

After staying with them in June 2020 I now had the pleasure to be welcomed in their new location, right on the Mekong in Savannakhet. Food is, as before excellent and varied. Rooms are a definite upgrade with all new mattresses, bedding, towels and roomy. The bathroom has great water pressure. The work is not complete yet but if passing through Savannakhet Town (which I would advise everyone to do) you will be happily surprised with this new property. Safe parking for motorbikes as well as a (small) parking lot for cars. A huge terrace overlooking the Mekong and Mukdahan across.

Very disappointed

The restaurant is in a very nice location with good ambiance but the food is a massive disappointment A Mediterranean salad was a simple tomato, cucumber and lettuce salad with a trace of feta cheese. Worse is the chicken wrap with just tomato, onion and some pieces of tasteless chicken. Nachos had some chopped tomato (not salsa), runny sauce (not sour cream) and no cheddar cheese as advertised in the menu I have been to about 20 restaurants in Savannakhet and this is by far the worse. I would not come back again

Great food and beautiful view

Must try their chicken pita wrap and beef burger; they're flavourful and delicious. I also like their coffee,it's one of the best in Laos. I enjoyed my stay at Pilgrim's kitchen & inn. With a breathtaking view, fresh air, clean room, comfortable bed, great customer service is what I love about this place. Thank you for your service. Planning to visit again.

Pilgrim’s Kitchen - Simply the best!

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Pilgrim's Inn. One of the highlights of our trip was Pilgrim's Kitchen. It is beautifully set right on the banks of the Mekong River. We had superb coffee and ate a delicious breakfast in the cool of the morning. Then in the evening we ate dinner as the sun set. It truly was so beautiful and peaceful. Everything on the menu is wonderful so you can't go wrong with breakfast, lunch or dinner. Don't miss out...I highly recommend eating here while you are in town!

A delicious friendly bite

We came out to find some food, and so glad that Pilgrim's was still offering take away food in the midst of lockdown. There was a clear area for waiting and even a little table with a menu and sanitizer. That was thoughtful. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and the breakfast bowl. It was made quickly and the taste was excellent. I was hungry so it almost didn't survive the trip back home. I was glad to see them carrying for the safety of their staff and customers.

A beautiful hotel at the Mekong!!!!

We stayed 2 nights at Pilgrims Kitchen and had the room A1 with a perfect view directly to the Mekong!!! Perfect!!! The room was nice, good bed and anything else you need for a good stay. We had dinner there and they make a very good pizza, we can recommend it. The stuff and the manager are very kind and helpul. But the best thing is the terrace directly at the mekong where you can have your meals or sit and watch the sunset, WONDERFUL!!!!!!

The best place to stay in Savannakhet with fabulous food

I stayed here when on a week long business trip and the 5* hotel we normally stay in was fully booked. Well I'm pleased it was fully booked because Pilgrim's Kitchen & Inn is a jewel on the side of the Mekong river with stunning views and sunsets over Thailand. The room was large, spacious and clean with air-conditioning, a functional shower room with toilet and sink. The food was the best I've had in Savannakhet and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Great food with a million dollars view

You must try their beef nachos and pitas wrap. They are amazing! Their coffee is also the best in town. The staff are very nice. I love going there every week, especially in the evening to see the sunset.

A Place You Don't Wonna Miss.

Are you looking for a calm and soul soothing place to retire? "Pilgrim's Kitchen and Inn" is a perfect place for you. It's all in a pack! as you get in, you'll be greeted with welcoming, friendly and helpful bunch of people. It gets more interesting if love good food! you obviously have made the right choice to be here. Wanna have a perfect Mekong River View? there's no better place you could possibly opt for. So the next time you are in Savanakhet, you won't wanna miss this place.

Choosing pilgrim's kitchen and Inn will not leave you regret. Staff and owner are super friendly and nice. The services was excellent. Great place and area to relax. Located right in the Mekong river. The rooms are nice and clean , price are affordable and coffee and food were good. Close to walking street. Area really pleasant and peaceful to stay. I'm glad that decided on this pilgrim's kitchen and Inn.

Great find!

Pilgrim's Inn is absolutely amazing! The rooms are spotless and cozy, the food is delicious, and the service is top-notch. The staff is friendly, and the manager is incredibly welcoming. Plus, it’s in a great location, making it easy to get around. Highly recommend for a perfect stay!

The nachos were okay along with a cold beer. Nice and friendly staff. Not much of an atmosphere inside, too many mosquitoes to enjoy the outside river view dining.

We stopped here for lunch on our way to the path alongside the mekong. The food was very good and the view was even better overlooking the mekong. Will definitely come back if in the area.
