We just had breakfast in this lovely cafe. We have been at few coffee shops and restaurants in Karakol, this place is one of the best. Excellent food and brilliant service. The coffee is proper smooth the way real coffee lovers would enjoy.

We had lunch at this place as our guesthouse was nearby. Cozy atmosphere, good menu with both local and european food, friendly service, and fair prices. A real café-style place which consequently attracts all different kinds of travelers.

Just had some of the most delicious food in Karakol for dinner The menu is more modern then traditional Kyrgyz fare, but everything was delicious. The restaurant not only has a cute cafe setting, but a full dining room and menu to match. The interior...feels very upscale, but the pricing is unbeatable. Service was exceptional, even though there was only one person servicing the entire place. They were quick, friendly, and did a hell of a job on a busy night. Though the restaurants is located on one of the many dirt side roads in Karakol, and at night is quite dark, this is an oasis of delicious food on the southern end of the city.More

I was recommended, by a fellow traveler at a yurt camp, to go to Lighthouse because they were raving about the cheesecake. After long day of travel, I showed up and actually ended up ordering my entire dinner from there and it was delicious. Both...were really affordable, the inside is beautifully decorated, although I saw outside where two tables make for a more Covid-safe option with a nice breeze. The wait staff was really friendly and the best part is, the next day I returned to eat again and they told me it was closed since it was a holiday....then the owner and her family invited me to have dinner with them, since I mentioned I was starving and every other place was closed. They treated me to their dinner, introducing me to their kids and relatives, and it was one of my favorite experiences in the country =]More

The best coffee restaurant in Kyrgyzstan for us, everything is absolutely tasty and delicious. The staff is professional and kind. Every dishes was absolutely perfect. The price is very low . The menu is complete with many kinds of food( pasta, pizza, chicken, tea ,...coffee , amazing milkshakes, incredible cakes and cheesecake). This is the best restaurant we have been in Kyrgyzstan. Best range of egg dishes I have experienced in Kyrgyzstan. Waffle Lighthouse is the best waffle I have had outside US. They also house a good collection of French wine.

We had an issue with one of our dishes (the waffle machine was broken) and had to order something else, so we had quite a wait. Fortunately we were not in a hurry and ended up ordering some takeout as well for later. The staff...was friendly (and apologized for the delay with complementary cheesecake) and the food was delicious. I would absolutely eat there again.More

We have been two times there. The service was very poor. Not welcoming staff at all, no organisation. The cuisine wasn’t bad in itself, but what is the point to receive your meal with the bill?
