Pasta & Fish, large portions, excellent food and service. Massimmo even gave us a lift home when we'd finished!

Quite OK, but nothing more. We tried both the Pizza and pasta - dishes. It's a nice to sit at the Piazza at night, but don't expect to much from the food.

Great family restaurant, kids love to run in the town square while dining for hours. We had a marvelous time and nice pasta dishes with plenty of wonderful fresh seafood.

La Piazzetta is, as the name implies, located in the center of a small piazza in the heart of Santa Marinella, near the port and the castle. We have passed the place several times in August but could never eat there because of a recurring break-dancing festival (!) with obnoxiously loud music that took over the entire piazza. This time... Went there for dinner with family. Service was either too fast or too slow. The food wasn't served at the same time for all guests. Italian food was quite good but for the price a little bit to less. The waiters don't speak English.

Our experience looks similar to many other reviews. The food is mediocre (pizza pretty good but pasta bland and disappointing). They really let themselves down in terms of service by over stretching the too few staff. Food took a long time, and we were unable to order more drinks, bread or desert because the staff were just too busy. It... More

They asked if we had a reservation and we said no so they asked us to return in 30 minutes, which was totally ok. When we returned we were seated at table they were clearing. The waitress was nice. We... More

Our second time here. Came with 5 adults and 5 children for Saturday lunch. Asked upon arrival if they could cater for table of 10. No problem we were told. After an ok start with drinks arriving in a timely manner , it all went bad from there. Had to ask for bread and tell them we were ready to... More

Nice place to have good food; we ordered a seafood salad, some seafood soup and a pizza; to be honest all was good, no complains on the food at all. Prices are reasonable and service is acceptable, friendly staff. Menu is in Italian, English and Spanish.
