We have been customers of Nakorn Siam for a number of years, both dining in and take away. A great little restaurant. The staff are friendly and very helpful and the food is consistently good. Great flavour and quality ingredients make for very good value for money.

The food was average. In the past 12 months ago food was excellent. We had the fish patties that were like rubber 2 out 4 would not finish them. Servings on the small side with little meat . However the place was clean about $30 head and the staff pleasant and you can BYO.

Always lovely food! Tonight we picked up take away and got home and realised one of the meals was wrong (chicken instead of tofu satay). We called up, and they immediately delivered a new meal to our door within 15 mins, and even gave us complimentary roti to make up for their mistake. Could not have been more helpful :)

Nakorn Siam is located in Deepdene, a small out of the way shopping centre. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Although it took a while for our order to arrive, the wait was worth while. We started with the prawn skewers. I enjoyed the sesame seed beef, the red duck curry was superb, as were the chicken with drunken noodles and... More

it was a rather large dinner party that we had attended. the place was full so noise level was a bit high. and that would be the only thing if I was to complain. the staff worked hard, the food came out hot and well presented. we had an assortment of dishes from assorted appetizers fish, both red and white... Friendly service does NOT make up poor quality food. 'Ginger Fish' discribed as Rockling on the menu, but I don't think so. It tasted as frozen Basa fillet. 'Laab Gai (Chicken Salad)' had no lime juice, no mint, no toasted rice, missing these essential ingredients means it was not Laab Gai at all! Even the steamed rice was a bit... More

Maybe I'm too fussy, but the food is really westernized Thai food. Yeah it is tasty, I mean my kids eat it happily, but where is the chilli? Where is the taste? As i say it is acceptable, it's just not brilliant

There's plenty of good Thai restaurants around Melbourne and this on'e no different. Food was very good, and the service was excellent - friendly, fast, polite and discree. Personally I'm a fan of the small dark Thai restaurant with strange and eclectic cultural knick knacks, and found Nakorn Siam a bit modern but the atmosphere is warm and inviting none... More
