My husband and I heard of this hidden gem from a clerk at the Buddy Dive Shop. The beer is the coldest on the island and the food, spot on. We had goat and chicken stew. The only thing left on our plates were the bones. They only expect cash so plan accordingly. Some may think it's pricey, but we... More

Charlotte and I stopped at the Rose Inn at 12 NOON on a Wednesday and were told that the only food available was a beef stew plate. The place was very crowded and I am sure our server was truthful. We ordered two beef stews. Charlotte had a coke and i had two Heineken beers. The food was pleasant and... More

My wife and I stopped in after going to the National Park. My wife had the beef stew and I had the baked fish. She said it was the best beef stew she had ever had and my fish was awesome. Al the sides were very good also, rice and beans, plantains and salad. When on Bonaire seek out Rose's... More

This place is a must while on Bonaire. Take the time to get to know Melfina (Rose) and you will make it a point to see her on every visit. She exemplifies everything good about the island, The "brand" is'coldest beer on the island'. I really think it is. Try the Iguana soup at least once (it tastes like chicken),... More

Off the beaten path, up near Slagbaai National Park is a place called Rincon. I have come here for 15 years. They have not changed. Still themselves and authentic. Regulars and locals are very nice in and around the restaurant. Food is hardy home cooked food. Goat is great and YET, I did have Iguana as well. I love it.... More

My husband and I loved this place. I've read some of the other reviews about Mary's and I have to say that our experience was nothing short of awesome. The staff was very kind and fun to talk with, if you are interested in being friendly with locals. Unfortunately for me I don't speak fluent Spanish but my husband does... More

This is one of our all time favorites on Bonaire. The laid back, relaxing atmosphere cannot be beat. They have great goat stew (sometimes iguana too), served with excellent tutu! Dive Taylor Made and Candyland in the morning, then stop here for lunch. You can thank me later.

After a morning of diving north on the island, my husband and I always stop by Rose Inn for a cold Polar before heading back to kralendijk. They are very friendly and the beer is cold! We have yet to have lunch but have seen person enjoy a heaping plate of food. The smells are out of the world! It... More

We read the reviews after we got to Bonaire and didn't make it to Rose's for goat stew until one of our last days on the island - wish we had gone sooner! One of our favourite meals and can't wait to go back! It is very casual and informal. Be patient if the stew isn't ready when you arrive... More

This is a great place to go after a day in the national park. The menu is simple. They usually have a fish special and a variety of stews. They are known for their goat stew. This was a nice stop after spending a hot and sweaty day in the park.
