Great food, great staff, great fun and great prices. This place is a hidden gem I found this by accident about 2 months ago and I've been back 4 times already.

Do treat yourself by visiting this amazing craft cafe in Claremorris. Co. Mayo. where you can choose and decorate your own ceramic item. My daughter, she's 36, took me to this delightful place in June. We enjoyed choosing our items to paint and the colours we wanted, no limits on the number of colours. The staff were exceptionally helpful and... More

We held our daughters birthday party here which was a cooking class. They made pizza and cupcakes from scratch and 14 x 8-9 yr olds loved it! The owners and staff were brilliant with the children and were really engaging. I can't recommend this place enough. We have had parties here in the past where they painted pottery which kids... It was mid-term break and I was looking for something to do with the kids. At 10 and 7 they are getting fussier about what they like doing. I had heard this was a great place to go with kids so I thought I'd try it out. Staff were really friendly and attentive and there is a very relaxed atmosphere.... More

Reservations are a must, preferably before you even arrive at Ashford Castle but the chef provides a delightful culinary experience. I decided to have fish and chips in the belief that I would get the best Ireland had to offer. I was so right! The batter was light and the chips were the very thin type that I love (which... More

A friend and I stayed in Claremorris over the weekend and I must say , that i cannot fault the friendly and helpful service of the Commons' Clay Cafe staff. The food was beautifully presented and tasted equally as good. We painted two mugs which were reasonably priced at €14. We spent a very relaxing day painting and chatting in... More
