A small queue to get served, but it was on a Friday evening. It took 10 minutes to be ready. Well wrapped, crisp batter, firm chips and tasted good.

Always fresh and tasty. Perfect Sunday night meal when you don't want to cook. Recommend calling your order through so you don't have to wait and then just pick up.

This place has great fish and chips and the kids love the hamburgers. A typical old time fish and chippery with no frills but good quality food. A great Friday night takeaway option.

Lovely fish and chips, very nicely cooked and very quick service. The grilled whiting was particularly delicious and were very large pieces. The chips were also very good. We also had the soft calamari and this was also very nice. The cost was very moderate considering the quality of food.

Very measly sized portion of fish for the money.Calamari very good as usual. Ok it's Black Rock but certainly on the expensive side for what you get. Staff can simply IGNORE you when you go to the counter to order - it's like you aren't even there. Service attitude needs to improve for sure. Go to Tommy Ruffs Mordialloc for... More

Always very busy and the wait time can be a little long, best to order over phone and collect. Nonetheless, worth the wait. Not greasy. One negative - do not serve any salads.

I used to work in this shop back in the early 80's the fish and chip and burgers were amazing back then. In the last year, I have been back numerous times, and the food tastes the same, not sure but it seems that over the years owners have been passing on the famous crispy batter and burger recipe. Be... More

A busy fish and chip shop that has been better in the past. We find the food a bit greasy and maybe the management should look at it as they have a monopoly in the area. We still go there occasionally and would like to see it get back to what it was.

This place is one of the few fish and chip shops in the area that manage to fry fish with a light crispy batter. Chip portions are a bit small, but still the best fish and chips in the area. Handy for the beach.
