We enjoyed a wonderful at The Tides tonight. From the formal greeting to the pleasant seaside atmosphere to the congenial staff to the perfectly prepared courses. This was a great experience for my wife's birthday. Omar, our waiter, for the evening was an excellent conversationalist with a delightful sense of humor. He really added much positive to our experience. I'd... More

This is our first trip to Barbados and The Tides was recommended by friends who have previously visited. We weren't disappointed! Very welcoming and friendly with engaging staff and a scrumptiously mouth watering menu. Whilst it may not be the cheapest restaurant we've eaten at, we thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

This is a very smart slick restaurant. The views are stunning and the food is as good as the views. It is very reasonably priced given the quality of the restaurant. We dined there yesterday evening. My wife had the open seafood ravioli followed by prawn and scallop risotto. I had the calamari followed by the slow roast belly of... More

My husband, two teenage daughters and I ate at The Tides last week. The restaurant is lovely and the setting on a cliff above the beach is wonderful. The service was impeccable - the best we got anywhere in Barbados. The menu is expensive (like New York City expensive), but the food was outstanding and I definitely felt that we... More

This week had another good meal at Tides. Friendly staff, good food and a reasonable wine list add to this beautiful location. Standards remain high. A definite repeat visit. Need to book for the best tables though.

We dined at The Tides on our last day in Barbados. They could only offer us a table at 6pm, which turned out great as we could see the waves breaking from our table before dusk and the skies had darkened. We also had a very early flight the next day! The food, wine and service was exceptional and the... More

We arrived a bit early and without a reservation and were offered a table anyway. We sat in the bar and had a couple of delicious cocktails before being taken to our table. Our waiter Andre was fantastic and the food was very well presented and tasted wonderful. The price was as expected from a top restaurant in barbados....pretty high... More

Dined on 16 January. Excellent food, service and atmosphere particularly if you have a rail table on the ocean Not cheap but quality food and cooking only let down by the non enforcement of a supposed dress code when 3 guys in flip flops, "army" style shorts and generally scruffy where allowed to dine on adjacent table. The management may... More
