Worth dropping by for the hot cross bun. One of the better ones on my hot cross bun craw. The bun is quite fluffy compare to others but it too fluffy. Good proportion of fruit and they are good quality. Mildly spiced. A well constructed hot cross bun.

We go here all the time and it never fails. Bread is superb, cakes and pastries amazing and coffee great. To eat in its a little cramped but charming. Paninis are delicious too. My all time favorite is their flourless orange cake .

I came for Breakfast. Something I could definitely eat everyday. Two thick slices of sourdough bread and avocado and feta cheese. Mmmmm the pastries are delicious but I couldn't try them all. And Lauren Hill is playing. I may never leave.

This wonderful cafe is tiny but well worth the squeeze. They do a roaring takeaway business but take the time to find a seat and enjoy some delicious food. Plenty of parking on Lygon Street and from memory we didn't have to pay for it but just double check that. We had the soup offer at $10 including bread. It... More

This little place makes great coffee and the traditional really gluggy Italian hot chocolate (nice with whipped cream). Doughnuts were tasty, as were the fruit toast and pastries. The jam is homemade and very nice. Place is cash only so make sure you have some cash.

For a traditional Italian eat and run breakfast nothing compares to an Italian custard bombolone (custard donut) and take away coffee. Simply delicious!

Place has been going for a while now. Still popular and often hard to get a table but there is a quick turnover. Place sells pies cakes and the like. You can eat them on the premises with coffee. (They also have a heart stopping chocolate. Their food generally is excellent. The serving staff are generally affable but appear to... More

Doesn't look much from the street but standard of product from this little bakery is Quiet good. Most things are made from Organic ingredients and baked with passion. They really need to get some marketing advice and their ambience is probably a 2/10. Worth a try for the quality but everything else is very ordinary.@10-30 am on 9/05/16

Sugar dough makes delicious pastries and breads. Coffee is excellent as are the breakfasts and lunches. Its soups are particularly good. The cafe uses free range and organic produce where possible.

My boyfriend and I have recently moved to Brunswick and are slowly sampling all the local cafes. This is my current favourite! I had the vegetable pie & salad, it was so yummy that I didn't want it to end. You can tell that they use good quality ingredients and a lot of thought has gone into the food. Sugardough... More
