I had walked by it many times it never caught by eye. Then I saw the plates one night and the plate presentation was beautiful. I came back and ordered the carbonara with spaghetti. The garlic bread arrived and was very visible appealing and very good. The carbonara came and also looked good. The chef rushed the spaghetti, it was... More

Stopped by the Il Puntino restaurant before catching a bus back to the city. Located very close to Bondi Beach. We ordered a vegetarian pizza (eggplant, artichoke, bell pepper and mushrooms). The pizza crust was not flavorful at all. It was too thick and too dry. The artichokes was very bland. All in all a very underwhelming experience. Price was... More

Service: perfect 10 out of 10 Food: average Atmosphere: inside is a little dingy, outside is really nice. Even on a bleak, grey, Australia Day Price: overpriced $64 for one vege pizza, one pasta main and garlic bread The ravioli was a little on the bland side, the tomato paste/puree was delicious. But had to wait a very long time... More

Don't look down at this Italian restaurant. It has a stone oven inside to make great thin pizza, adding charcoal flavours to delicious toppings. The boss will welcome you on the terrace and propose the specials. He can even make some adjustment to the recipe to suit your preference. He really makes a difference and he seems to know all... We went to Il Puntino at Bondi on a Saturday night and enjoyed our experience. We were just passing by and decided to stay as it was nice and quiet as opposed to the other side of town which was crowded and noisy There were some nice seats outside with heaters, and as it was cold, this enabled us to still enjoy... This is our favourite restaurant in Bondi. I havn't reviewed it before but believe it deserves 5 stars. The best dish is the 4 cheeses gnocci. Its the family favourite and we normally get 2 plates to have for entrée and share. We were there on Sunday night and it was really quite so service was prompt. Not much on... More

Thursday night is a quiet night and only one other couple who left shortly after we arrived. Sat outside with a heater and watched the people go by. Roberto, our waiting was very friendly and we chatted for awhile. My husband had a pepper steak medium which was cooked to perfection and very tender but a bit expensive at $38.... More

The only thing about this Italian restaurant was the waiter. Food was plain and average for this price. I would imagine getting this type of food in a bar. Not going back here again.

Stopped early on a Saturday evening for a quick meal and sat outside opposite Bondi Beach.......met by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Spaghetti Bolognaise and 4 cheese ravioli were excellent, and even our glass of wine each was topped up without additional charge. A very pleasant, enjoyable meal with excellent friendly service. Thank you. We'll definitely be back.
