We planned to visit for lunch on our way between King's Lynn and Grantham. As we were running late, we were delighted when the friendly waitress alerted the kitchen to hold on for a few minutes so we could select from the homemade hot lunch menu. We chose a hot lunch of steak and ale pie, a yummy warming filling... More

In the midst of an array of American style venues is this very English tea room. It has the reassuranly cosy character of the traditional tea room. Good cup of tea and scone. Slightly sleepy atmosphere. Service fair.

Returning from a weeks holiday in Norfolk we stopped off at this tearoom (part of a garden centre) for a refreshment break. Located on the A47 it was one of a few we passed however one of the factors I look at when choosing somewhere to dine is how busy is it? On this occasion the answer was obvious, almost... More

En route to a holiday week in Norfolk, enjoyed a late light lunch at this café (in a garden centre). Staff were friendly, enjoyed two home made soups and excellent bread, but disappointed with the milk shakes which were of the instant variety. This café is well located for a snack when travelling to/from the north Norfolk Coast and you... More

There are very few cafes for a decent break between Norwich and Newark on the notorious A47/A19. This place is clean and has good restroom facilities. Food was fine and there is a garden nursery and shop as part of the site. Recommended.

My husband and I stopped for lunch here. We had caoffee, a panini and a jacket potato - the bill came to just under £15. Not the most expensive meal, but I still feel ripped off considering the awful food. We weren't given enough milk for two cups of coffee (served in tiny, cheap canteen style cups). The panini was...
