We have been here so many times over the years and the chips are always great! This place has a great reputation for a reason. Have never eaten in the restaurant, so cannot comment on that. Take away always great. Staff have always been at least OK (the younger ones), some are extremely friendly (the older ladies). Highly recommended!

Great fish and chips. The fish is so fresh and is I a lovely batter that isn't greasy. You get a large amount of chips that I couldn't eat them all. The staff are friendly and helpful.

It was such a surprise to find this fish restaurant during our visit to Spalding. It was upstairs from the chip shop. Plenty of space where we could sit down and in a civilised manner, complete with a small bar. The fish was so fresh and the bread rolls were beautiful. Staff were attentive and obliging. We chose the cod... More

If you like busy busy setting, just off town centre it is very good. Food is served very quickly and there really is a super buzz. Very popular with locals.

Visited this self styled FAMOUS fish and chip shop/restaurant. A group of us went in on a saturday afternoon looking for the famous service and food. NOT impressed. Fish was frozen not fresh as stated when asked! Yes you can tell frozen from fresh. The fish was overcooked almost dry. Portion size was equivalent to 3 fish fingers in batter.... More

Freshly cooked fish & chips takes a lot of beating and we have used Sheddies for over sixty years. The time I love most is when they have a sign in the window explaining NEW POTATOES being served now.

This restaurant has been in Spalding for years and years and is a family run concern. Always a friendly atmosphere and service is good. The portions are large so think before you order as large means large. Enjoy the experience!

I went here for lunch with my friend. We are both on diets so probably not the best restaurant to choose! But they very kindly specially cooked us very lightly battered cod and a wonderful salad. Delicious. I would certainly go again.
