Stopped off as it was so hot we all needed a pit stop. This was a nice find. The guy serving was really lovely and charming to my girls. Service was prompt, the drinks very good and the price reasonable. Love these out of the way places couldn't see it surviving in greedy England.

We eat here twice in a week when we visited the côté d'opale recently. Very friendly service and good food - great mussels.

OK food - we both had mussels - husband's white wine sauce was not good. Very average inside - would not recommend this place for dinner.

The dinner options in Escalles are limited. We went to Falais on the recommendation of the b&b were we stayed. Started with oysters and a small glass of champagne. These were one of the best oysters I ever had - fresh and with a full flavor. The main course was just as tasteful. Finished the meal with a creme brulee... More

In a party of 16 we had a great time lunching at Les Falaises. Sat outside in the shade it was sunny and warm. This eatery is in a lovely location close to the beach. During a leisurely 3 hour lunch we enjoyed good food, good wine and good service. Some of the preliminary taster courses of seafood arrived in... More

This is a great little restaurant, linked to the campsite. It has a smaller menu, mostly fish but a few meat dishes, than the L'Escale. But the standard of cooking and flavours was superb. Definitely give it a try if you are near here.

After a horrible wet day in August trailing around a hypermarket before our ferry home tomorrow, we discovered by chance this great place 4 km from our own campsite. We chose the plat du jour and had a delicious meal of skate wing in a leek sauce (Aile de Raie poireaux) Really large portion of fish in a lovely sauce... More

Quality cuisine, well presented and a very pleasant atmosphere. A good selection of house wines, beers and spirits. We both enjoyed an excellent meal in a very relaxed setting, well served by waiters who really wanted to provide an unforgettable experience. And all reasonably priced.

This was a return visit. Next to camp site and used by the French. Nice fish dishes but is it a tad expensive? Lovely sunny terrace for a drink

After a long drive to Calais on a Friday evening we had time to kill and found this very pleasant village with several restaurants. Here we had Moules Roquefort and Salmon which we delicious. The service was friendly but entirely in French. The decor is reasonably simple, but don't let that fool you, the restaurant was busy and obviously popular... More
