We landed here on accident. Friday night 9pm the day after Thanksgiving not many places were open. So after trying three other places we saw a food open sign and said looks like this is it. The decor was a typical Northwoods bar but with peanut shells on the floor. The menu is primarily burgers, but there are the other... More

Great burgers and cheese curds, the decor is classic north woods tavern and the peanut shells on the floor make it fun. Burgers are served come on a ciabatta bun and the only thing that would make it better would be to have various bun options. Looking forward to coming back and trying the Friday Fish Fry!

More than a dozen types of bugers.... really good. Don't bother with anything else unless you like straight from the Sysco bag into the fryer. Burgers..... don't waiver.

1st time stopping for a burger at PJ's. Sat by the window and was waited on right away. So many burgers to chose from. I had swiss and mushroom and my husband had bacon cheeseburger. They come with their own homemade chips but were a little salty for me. I had the fries and they were excellent. The burger tasted... More

We have been coming to the Northwoods for 16 years and had never eaten here! We won't miss another vacation with out stopping here at least once. Hamburgers are really juicy and made to order. Friendly service and quaint atmosphere.

We stayed for a few more beverages Peanuts on the table, plywood floors to throw the shells Decor is Northwoods tavern - gloriously bad! You have to respect a rubber duck collection for decor! Mom and Pop feel... More

A quaint little bar with over 30 different burgers to choose from. Great service, and one of the best homemade Old Fashioneds around!

I had the Olive Burger and it was delicious, with sour cream! Most satisfying burger I've had in a long time. Great homemade chips, too.

Stopped in for a bite to eat and we were not too sure about the place. It looked on the inside more like a dive bar with peanut shells all over the floor. They had a good selection of beers. After an appetizer of fried cheese curds (which were great), our burgers came. Big and juicy. Made with fresh ground... More
