difficult to find in the dark!!! Good dinner, good wines but no beer. The athmosphere is very romantic with a big fire in the middle of the Restaurant. We liked it a lot

It's a lovely little place hidden in the woods near the ocean ....and easy to miss once you pass jose Ignacio .. It's a very romantic but VERY rustic place ....not cheap and one can not really see the food ...it's a young , hip place with plenty of mosquitos ...although ...well, it's young !

We arrived by taxi, candles lit the way! What a fabulous place, it's away from the beach but all sand, fire burning, great ambience. BBQ meats, beef, lamb which was outstanding, even the fat which had rendered down. We shared entrees prawns with coconut yummo. Great place, more pricey than others but well worth the experience, great service.

Dinner with friends. 3 couples. Food 9/10 Attention 10/10 the place 11/10. Do not lose the lamb. There are some tables around fireplace that could be more romantic if that's your plan. Will definitely repeat.

worth the visit, just 'outside' the 'town' of jose ignacio on a counntry dirt road which is standard in the area. Good food, changing menus they say during the season; and very picnic/countryside feel to the place with sandy 'floor' and good service. Definitely quality for the area and whatever you order will be typical pricey given North American expectiations... More

We arrived for our 11.30pm reservation to find a sea of people crowded into the restaurant driveway like the opening day of the sales. One poor female staff member was attempting to manage the increasingly frustrated throng and the chaos that was the booking sheet. We eventually sat at our table just after 1am, then started the nightmare. I wont... More

I come regularly to Jose Ignacio since 2008 but, for one reason or another never visited Marismo. That has changed last week. OMG, what have I missed? First of all the venue. Very rustic and charming. You dine with your feet on the sand, by candlelights. Then the service. I must say that most of the restaurants in Jose Ignacio... More
