Unfortunately airlines have to participate for you to use TSA pre-check. So, just because you are a "known traveler" , be it from TSA Pre-Check status or Global Entry status--if the airline doesn't participate, neither do you!
This, btw is something I have written my Congressman and Senators about. I should be able to show my Global Entry ID and use pre-check regardless of my airlines ability to print it on my boarding pass or not. --ESPECIALLY with the Homeland Security Sec. ranting all over on how not enough people have signed up for pre-check!
Edited: 7 years agoI did look at the list but I know it is a Jet Blue terminal I wasn't sure if we could use it if flying with AL.
No You can't use it unless the airline participates. And Aer Lingus does not. It doesn't matter which terminal they use. Most non USA carriers don't participate. I guess they figure they don't carry enough passengers with pre check departing from USA airports to be worth whatever time or effort it would take them to participate.
Edited: 7 years agoCan't you only use Pre Check if it is printed on your boarding pass?
Yes, only if it's on your boarding pass. If the airline doesn't participate then it won't be there.
