Is it Airbnb?

Listed as a villa resort comes up on all the booking sites.

Lots of vacation rentals are now listed on booking.com, Expedia and similar. Unfortunately it does not make them equal to the regular hotels that have proper reception staff and customers support. And communication level depends on the owner's agility and personal attitude. Clearly with this villa rental it's zero to NONE.

They eventually answered one email... but just the once. I'm not impressed by lack of communication

I didn't get any response however they were at the ferry terminal with their "Lagos bay villa " sign so got a lift to the villas whether that was for me or not. Other than that they have been good.

Lack of communication is a serious drawback for me in choosing accommodation for the next trip. If a hotel or a vacation rentals sees answering guest's question as a nuisance I scrap them out of my list.

The villas are worth staying at, if anyone was looking wouldn't let this deter from staying at Lagoi Bay Villas. The proximity to beach and access to restaurants instead of being tied to a resort is a definite bonus.

There is very little to do here !

The facilities are basic

The accommodation was nice

I thought it was way overpriced
